Return to Training Update - June 11, 2021
We are VERY excited to get back to in person training. Our return is just days away, as we finalize our back to training plan and await receipt of our official permits from the city of Burlington. Full details about the return to training will be communicated via email to all current members in the coming days.
We will be accepting new members once we get back to training, restrictions ease, allowable in person numbers increase, and we are certain we can safely accommodate additional athletes. Availability may be limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Please see our Contact Us section for contact details and continue to check back here for updates.
Junior Team Update
Our junior team members are NOT currently training at this time. The Burlington Track & Field Club (BTFC) will continue to assess the COVID-19 situation with the possibility of re-starting the junior program in 2021.
Senior Team Update
Our senior team members continue to train ONLY when government mandates allow, with strict adherence to all COVID-19 guidelines, protocols and government regulations. Our priority is to ensure the safety of our athletes and coaches.
We are a volunteer organization with the following aims and objectives:
To Foster, promote and teach track and field within the city of Burlington and to provide maximum opportunities for all eligible individuals to participate regardless of ability.
To develop and encourage sportsmanship and community spirit among all participants to the betterment of their physical, mental and social well-being.
To promote and sponsor such activities as may contribute to the financial well-being of the club.
We encourage you to try us out a couple of times before committing yourself to joining.
